Universal Restrooms

The LGBTQ Resource Center along with the Office of Equal Opportunity and Accessibility Resource Center understand the need for safer restroom access for all UNM communities. All three groups are working on creating a map of all Universal and Gender-Neutral restrooms on UNM campuses. A Universal Restroom consists of a single stall restroom that is fully ADA compliant, including but not limited to: wheelchair access, sharps container, baby changing station, and more. A gender-neutral restroom may not be fully ADA compliant.
